Amy Lavallato, RYT
Trauma-Informed Integrative Therapist
“Supporting your journey to balance, strength, and peace.”
Meet Amy
Amy (she/her) is an Integrative Therapist with specialized expertise in trauma-informed individual and group sessions. Drawing on a robust foundation of body-mind-centered training, Amy blends therapeutic principles with somatic and movement-based modalities to support deep healing across physical, emotional, and cognitive domains.
Amy’s approach is grounded in an understanding of how trauma shapes the nervous system and lived experience. She integrates evidence-informed practices — including trauma-sensitive yoga, meditation, and mindful movement — with structured therapeutic frameworks to help clients feel seen, supported, and genuinely cared for throughout their healing journey. In every session, Amy emphasizes safety, attunement, and intentional presence so that clients can reconnect with their bodies, regulate emotion, and cultivate resilience.
In addition to her trauma-informed work, Amy brings specialized training in:
-
Eating disorders — incorporating awareness-based strategies and compassionate care that honor each client’s unique relationship with food and body image.
-
Pilates — using strength-based movement to support somatic integration, postural awareness, and physical empowerment.
-
Meditation and mindfulness practices — guiding clients in cultivating present-moment awareness, stress regulation, and self-compassion.
Whether in individual therapy or group settings, Amy’s work weaves clinical insight with embodied practice, helping clients break through patterns of avoidance, reconnect with themselves at a deeper level, and move toward lasting balance and well-being.
