Luke Carsto, MA, LPC, NCC Owner/Director - Therapist

Luke is a Licensed Professional Counseling (LPC), and a National Certified Counselor (NCC). and has worked in the mental health field for over 15 years. He started off working in an acute psychiatric hospital, where he made the decision that he wanted to obtain his master’s in mental health counseling. He then worked as a project coordinator at a non-profit agency that focused on overall services in Montgomery County PA to provide information to the county office to aid in bettering services for mental health consumers. At this time, he started his graduate program in mental health counseling at Kutztown University. While obtaining his master’s degree, he worked with autistic children through a local agency and as a supervisor for a call center at Kutztown University of Pennsylvania. Luke graduated from Kutztown University with an M.A in mental health counseling. He has 5 plus years as a mental health therapist.

 

Luke has experience with a multitude of mental health conditions and symptoms. Within his career he has worked with individual ranging from 6 years old to 87 years old individuals. He has experience with family and couples’ talk therapy, and group talk therapy. Luke’s experience covers what is traditionally diagnosed as depression, anxiety, trauma, obsessive compulsive disorder, psychotic disorders and personality disorders. He understands that diagnostics is a part of the mental health experience but believes that people are not their diagnosis and can be treated without labels.

 

Luke is the Director of Therapeutic Operations for Project Healing Hive and oversees talk therapy services for the network. He is the owner and director of Eternal Renewal Counseling, LLC. He uses compassion and down to earth approach to treatment, and believes that people experience life as a whole and provided traditional talk therapy and holistic therapy.

Kristen Morris-Yehiel, RYT, CPSS

Director of Alternative Therapy - Alternative Therapy Specialist

Kristen is a Yoga Therapist, Certified Peer Support Specialist (CPSC), and

Breath Coach. A peer support specialist is able to connect with individuals through lived experiences of depression/anxiety, trauma, mental illness and/or addiction while guiding them in their healing journey from a more personal level. Recent studies have shown the effectiveness and need for CPSS. Through lived experiences, education, skills learned in formal training and research, Kristen is able to deliver services in an authentic, comprehensive approach while creating a peaceful settings to promote mind-body recovery and resiliency.

Yoga therapy is the appropriate application of the ethical teachings and physical practices in a therapeutic context in order to support a consistent yoga or meditation practice that will increase self-awareness and engage the clients energy in the direction of desired goals. The goals of yoga therapy include eliminating, reducing, or managing symptoms that cause suffering; improving brain function and positive thought patterns; helping to prevent the occurrence or re-occurrence of underlying causes of illness; and moving toward improved health and well-being. Yoga therapy also helps clients change their relationship to and identification with their condition(s).

 

Alternative therapies continue to evolve and adapt to the cultural context in which it is practiced, and today, they are also informed by contemporary health sciences. Efficacy is supported by an increasing body of research evidence, which contributes to the growing understanding and acceptance of it's value as therapeutic disciplines.

 

Kristen is the Founder of Project Healing Hive Wellness Network. Providing alternative therapies to individuals, families, and communities. Her service, is guiding individuals into re-claiming their lives, supporting their journeys to self-empowerment  and healing.
